DAVID H. FUCHSMAN
Before relocating to Texas, David was a Court appointed Magistrate for the Montgomery County, Ohio, Common Pleas Court and in the final eight years held the title of Chief Magistrate. The Ohio Common Pleas Court is analogous to the District Court in Texas. As Chief Magistrate, he presided over both jury trials and trials to the bench. He also served as the liaison between the elected judges and the bar, overseeing the Court’s mediation program.
Prior to his Court appointment, David worked in the law firm of Izenson, Fuchsman and Brinkman and was also the City Prosecutor for the City of Trotwood, Ohio. Prior to same, he initially worked for two law firms, and was the City Prosecutor for the City of Vandalia, Ohio.
Present day practices for Mr. Fuchsman include serving as General Counsel for a local manufacturing company that has been in business for over 25 years. Since January 2020, Mr. Fuchsman has served as Of Counsel for David R. Brewer, Attorney at Law, PLLC.
Outside of practicing law, Mr. Fuchsman enjoys bicycling for physical activity, reading periodicals and watching sports of all kinds. He has also served as Synagogue President and Private School President of the Board of Directors. David has been married for 31 years and has three children ages 26 through 28.
